Rules of the game

To maintain a high level of safety and comfort at Dunedin Royal Poker Club, all members must abide by the following rules:

  • You can only join the club if you are 18 years of age or older. A photo ID is required to prove your age and identity.
  • Each member of the club is issued a personalized card, which must be used to enter the club. We kindly ask you not to forget your card at every visit. In case of loss of the card, it can be recovered at the reception.
  • In order to officially leave the club, you must submit a written statement stating the reasons.
  • Before leaving the club you should make sure that all financial obligations are fully met. Loans are not available from the club.
  • All members are required to treat staff and other club members with respect. Mutual respect is an integral part of the club atmosphere.
  • All information obtained at the club, including conversations and notes, may not be used for commercial or journalistic purposes. The confidentiality of information about the club and its members is strictly guarded.
  • Dunedin Royal Poker Club is not responsible for damage or loss of property occurring on the club premises.
  • Entry to the club is only possible if the dress code is smart casual. Otherwise access to the club may be restricted.
  • Persons under the influence of alcohol are not allowed in the club. Members will be supervised by staff throughout their stay. If a member's behavior is deemed unacceptable, access to alcohol will be restricted.
  • The use of drugs is strictly prohibited in the club. Any breach of this rule will result in immediate expulsion from the club and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
  • All club property belongs to Dunedin Royal Poker Club and must be used with the utmost care.
  • Rules for poker and other games are posted in information booklets throughout the casino. All decisions of senior staff are final and binding.
  • Member data is handled in accordance with the requirements of data protection legislation.
  • All aspects of Dunedin Royal Poker Club are regulated in accordance with the requirements of the Gambling Commission. Any breaches of these requirements by members are strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.
  • In the event of unsatisfactory behavior by a member, he/she may be immediately removed from the club premises.
  • Dunedin Royal Poker Club reserves the right to change or cancel tournaments and prize pools prior to the event. Members will be notified of any changes in advance either online or on-site. The club will not be liable for any losses resulting from such changes.
  • Violation of these rules may result in suspension or revocation of Dunedin Royal Poker Club membership.
